Asian Americans and the Arts: "Shatter[ing] Expectations"

Here is an interesting excerpt that I read today for my Asian American Art and Culture class. It is an excerpt from a work by Arthur Sze, a second-generation Chinese American who has written 5 books of poetry. Be inspired!

sweet! what Asian American studies class are you taking? I'm working on my certificate on Asian Pacific American Studies, so it has been interesting looking at stories, histories, and experiences from a different perspective than what I had expected or had known about in the past.
